NOTES FOR PARENTS:
BOOK FAIR – Our school is hosting a Schoastic Book Fair in our library November 29-December 6. We will go to the book fair during our normal library time on Tuesday at 8:30. You can send your child with money or they can make a wish list and take you back later.
Your child will be able to attend a Christmas Store at our school on December 8th and 9th. This is a wonderful opportunity to allow your child to buy gifts for their family, friends, and buddy.
CHRISTMAS in JK– On Friday, December 18 at 9:00 am in the church our class will be leading a Christmas Service for their families. We will also be having our Christmas party in class that day after the service at 10:00 am.
SERVICE PROJECT - We will be supporting Spark of Love, an organization that collects new toys for needy kids. This toy drive will start on Monday, December 7th and end on Wednesday, December 16. A flyer will be sent home explaining this wonderful cause in more detail.

SHARE: Your child will be able to bring in a small item to share with the class on their share day. Please help your child select a toy that will fit in their backpack.

HOMEWORK:
DAILY: Practice writing your name using a big letter in the front and little letters following. Keep practicing the letter of the week. I will continue to assess your child on letter and number recognition, please work with them on this daily.
READING: Please read with your child daily and fill out the reading log found in the folder behind the behavior chart.
